How to receive SMS with a USA temp number

Choose a United States temporary phone number from the list above and open its inbox. Public US inboxes are free to read without an account. Each listing has its own message page, so keep that exact page open while requesting your text.

1. Check the number. Compare its latest SMS and 24-hour message count, then open the inbox to inspect recent senders. Use the state or app filter if you need a narrower list.
2. Request an SMS. Copy the full number, select United States in the sending service and enter the phone number. If the form already adds +1, enter the ten national digits only. Choose SMS as the delivery method.
3. Read your message. Return to the same inbox and match the sender and arrival time to your request. Inbox refresh displays received messages; a resend must be requested from the sending service.
