Which type of number fits your task?
A number’s country is only part of the choice. Who can read its texts and how long you can keep access also matter. Compare the site’s three access options before copying a number.

Choose by what you need from the number
- A short task with non-sensitive texts: start with a free public inbox.
- Browsing members-only numbers: sign in first. This access level is still shared and does not reserve a line.
- Separate access for a defined period: review a private number’s plan and terms before paying.
Access type does not determine whether an app accepts a number. For a long-term personal account, keep a number you own, can renew and can access again.
